EO DAY – notice of reduced availability

On Thursday 27th June 2019 our support team will be dining with the rest of the business in celebration of the EOA’s national EO Day as well as our own anniversary for becoming employee-owned.

Whilst this means a drop in availability of support technicians on the phones, we will continue to monitor help desk activity via e-mail should any emergency support be necessary.

Pillar Software Ltd. has thrived under employee ownership and we continue to make strides in all areas.

In fact employee-owned businesses have increased their year-on-year productivity from 6.2% in 2016 to 7.3% in 2017(1). That’s compares to UK productivity as a whole falling 0.1% from Q1 2017 to Q1 2018.

We’re deep into the development of the next major version of Profess products, whilst also continuing to re-engineer how we work, taking on new staff and welcoming a range of new clients.

As members of the Employee Ownership Association, we’re always happy to act as advocates for the model, so please do get in touch if you’d like to find out more. Alternatively, visit the Employee Ownership Association at https://employeeownership.co.uk/

The Association is celebrating its 40th year this year and this coincides with a number of household names having recently embraced the model, from Richer Sounds to creators of Wallace and Gromit, Aardman Animations. They join the likes of Arup Global, John Lewis / Waitrose, CIPFA, Lush Cosmetics and the London Borough of Sutton among many more across a diverse range of businesses contributing £30bn to UK GDP annually.

For us it simply means that the engines of our success – our employees – are now the owners of that success.
